Fibriods are non-cancerous tumours that develop within the walls of the womb. They could cause disturbances or distortions in the reproductive system. Using drugs (such as birth control pills, hormonal pills and painkillers) are appropriate for patients with mild symptoms or small fibriods. Surgery is for large fibriods and those with severe symptoms.
