Okowa said the government and people of Delta State are proud of Ogor’s achievements and the values that his life represents. He stressed that his achievements both in the House of Representatives and leader in Isoko were noteworthy, adding the government and people of Delta State felicitates with him on his birth anniversary.

“As the leader of our great party and other opposition parties in the House of Representatives, you have proved beyond reasonable doubt that you are not just called the “General” in vain. “You have combined the ingenuity of a legislator per excellence with humility and genuine feelings and thoughts for the less privileged. Those of us who know you will always attest to your sincerity of purpose.

“I am reminded of your glittering 16 years political career in the House of Representatives, where against all odds; you were elected Deputy Majority Leader in the 7th Assembly and now as Minority Leader in the 8th Assembly. I can testify to your devotion to excellence, commitment, simplicity and integrity. These qualities will continue to be a source of inspiration to all those whose lives you have touched in various important ways”.

“Your life represent the values that we so much cherish. So on this joyous occasion of your birthday anniversary, you deserve our respect, honour and goodwill. The government and the entire good people of Delta State, salute you for your courage, discipline and candour and life of magnificent accomplishments”.
“We join your admirers and well wishers across the country to wish you a happy birthday,” he said.
