Former Super Eagles striker Victor Ikpeba has advised Gernot Rohr to get Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka to play for his team.
The 18-year-old, who has been with the Gunners since he was seven, has been impressive since making his first team debut in 2018 under Unai Emery, and continued with his inspiring form for the London side as he provided an assist for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to score his 20th Premier League goal of the season against Leicester City on Tuesday.
It was his 23rd appearance in the English topflight this term. Impressed with his performance against the Leicester City, the 1997 Africa Player of the Year wants the German tactician to cap the youngster.
“Watching the Arsenal versus Leicester City game and I think Gernot Rohr should invite Bukayo Saka to the Super Eagles camp once the paperwork has been concluded,” Ikpeba tweeted.
Despite representing England at U-16, U-17, U-18 and U-19 levels, the England-born teenager remains eligible to represent Nigeria at senior level.
