President Muhammadu Buhari sends condolences to family, friends and associates of former Minister of Internal Affairs, Naval Commodore Lamba Dung Gwom (Rtd) over passing of the exceptional military officer and national leader.

President Buhari joins the Berom nation, government and people of Plateau State, and all former professional colleagues in mourning the former Minister of Internal Affairs, who also served as Minister of Culture, affirming that through simplicity, diligence and discipline he served meritoriously, always putting the nation first.

The President believes the strong and positive influence of Commodore Gwom on his community, state and the nation will always be remembered.

President Buhari prays for the repose of the soul of the departed leader, and comfort for his family.
