Meantime, Kurdish combatants shot down another Turkish military helicopter in Afrin region on Saturday, killing 9 Turkish soldiers.
The Kurdish-language Hawar news reported that the Kurdish militias shot down a personnel carrier Sikorski helicopter of the Turkish army with nine military men on board in Rajou region in Northwestern Aleppo.
Earlier in the day the Kurdish militias shot down another Turkish army helicopter killing two soldiers.
The Turkish sources have confirmed that the country’s army has lost a sum of 11 Turkish soldiers in the two incidents, adding that 11 more have been wounded.
The first military helicopter was downed by the Kurds in the village of Qadah in Rajou region early on Saturday.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan later warned that Ankara would give the Kurds a crushing response to the attack.
He also acknowledged hat two Turkish military men were killed in the chopper crash.
