No fewer than seven memorandum of understanding have been signed with private investors in Ondo state as part of efforts by the Oluwarotimi Akeredolu’s administration to make the state an industrial hub.
Speaking with reporters in Akure, the secretary to the state government, Ifedayo Abegunde added that five concession agreements were signed with different investors .
He noted that these MOUs when fully implemented will bring about total transformation and development to the state especially in the area of revenue generation and job creation .
Abegunde explained that some of the projects that will be sited in the state include a rice processing plant, fertilizer blending and sack wooden plant and ethanol plant.
