Delta State Governor, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa has disclosed that the music industry was a veritable tool to ensure peace and security in the state .
Speaking during a courtesy call by the Executive Council members of the Performing Musician Association of Nigeria, (PMAN) Delta State Chapter led by its Chairman Evangelist Tebite Quincy in Asaba, Senator Okowa said insecurity has reduced because of the peace promoted among the youths through music

According to him” We must thank you for the effort You have been making to bring peace in the state through your music, this has helped in improving development in the state.”
He noted that the unity experienced in the association has made PMAN stronger in the state and hope that the unity would be sustained among members to make the group functional.
The governor commended the association for the idea of advocating for a state musical fiesta annually stressing that ” asking to contribute your quota to the development of our youths and the state through this fiesta is a good idea which my government will encourage.”
Earlier, Evang. Tebite Quincy, commended Gov. Okowa for his developmental stride in the state and assured him of the association’s continuous support.
