THE National Working Committee (NWC), of the Advanced People’s Democratic Alliance (APDA), under the leadership of Mainasara Illo as National Chairman, will like Nigerians to know that the party’s NEC decision on August 8, 2017 to replace its erstwhile NWC lead by Shitu Kabiru is irrevocable, irreversible and a done deal.
Mallam Shitu Kabiru and all other members of the APDA Interim NWC were given appointment letters whose term and conditions stated clearly that their tenure will be for a period of three months, March 14 to June 14, 2017. Not a single one of them had any objections at the time.
It has become necessary to make these clarifications following a series of distorted and inaccurate and totally misleading information emanating from Shitu and his group who have resorted to violent attacks on characters and blackmail of some founding members of the APDA in the social and core media.
WE will like to make it clear that no amount of blackmail, name calling and sundry distractions will deter the APDA from its avowed objective of changing the manner political parties are conducted in Nigeria. Shitu does not own the APDA but was merely invited to be chairman of the Interim National Working Committee, NWC by High Chief Raymond Dokpesi indeed against popular advise of those who knew Shitu.
In his characteristic manner Chief Dokpesi graciously appointed Shitu to his former position only for him to start plotting early in the day to hijack the party once it was registered by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
The APDA is aware that Mallam Shitu handed over a certificate of registration to the founding members, purportedly received from INEC which certificate turned out to be a scanned photocopy of the original certificate. The truth of the matter is that Shitu never contributed one per cent of the total costs of ensuring registration of the APDA. At the appropriate time the party shall open the gory details of how some Nigerians now posing to be Owners of the APDA conducted themselves with proof of evidence.
High Chief Raymond Dokpesi in the true spirit and letters of the founding team of the APDA has since left the APDA and returned to the PDP and the former is now with a life of its own, planning and giving strategic interpretations to its several answers to the nation’s protracted and multifaceted political problems.
The APDA shall let Nigerians know soon enough why it is the only party that is different and will do all things differently to create a new lease of life for Nigeria and Nigerians who have been held hostage and in bondage since Independence in spite of the enormous and tremendous God given natural resources in every part of the country.
Those claiming to be leaders of the APDA do not even understand the constitution and manifesto of the party as they have so far broken and violated every known rule in the books of the party parading themselves as drivers of a party whose policy frameworks and philosophy they hardly understand.
The APDA will therefore urge the Nigerian public to disregard and distant themselves from Mallam Shitu and his band of pretending political leaders of a Party they do not own. The Banks are also well advised to be weary of engaging in any transactions with them as doing so might raise some liabilities for them.
The new Chairman of the APDA, Mallam Mainasara Illo and his BOT chairman, Chief Dan Nwanyanwu will in the nearest future be addressing the Media where all the farce and facade of those planted to destabilize the APDA will be laid bare for the whole world to see.
