The trial of Mohammed Dangana, a staff of the Economic Community of West African States, (ECOWAS) Commission Secretariat, Abuja, before Justice Okon Abang of the Federal High Court, Abuja has been adjourned to January 22 and 23 2020 for ruling on the application for the variation of the bail conditions of the defendant and continuation of trial respectively.
Dangana, an executive assistant to the Financial Controller of the ECOWAS Commission, is facing prosecution by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC on a 15-count charge, bordering on criminal diversion of funds, misappropriation and money laundering to the tune of over N587.7million
He was arraigned alongside Saleh Dangana(Financial Controller, ECOWAS Commission) and Aliyu Ndagi (both are at large) on October 18,2019.
