Adenike Adebola is currently the Marketing & Innovations Director of Guinness Nigeria plc and has responsibility for the Total Beverage Alcohol Marketing Strategy from Reserve through IPS, Mainstream Spirits, Stout, Lagers and Non-Alcoholic brands. She has made revelations about her passion and positive attitude towards her job several times. Her job entails looking after the Guinness brands in terms of strategy and profitability, in winning with the consumers, its portfolio, innovations, and how the company wins from a marketing point of view to ensure profitability of its brands.

She returned to Nigeria in July 2015 after a successful period on the Guinness Global Brand Team as Head of Marketing for Spirits, a key role in achieving our performance ambition for spirits in Nigeria. She has been with Guinness for almost 16 years in various roles but in this position, almost four years.
Guinness Nigeria Plc, a public limited liability company quoted on the Nigerian Stock Exchange was incorporated 29 April 1950 as a trading company importing Guinness Stout from Dublin. The Company has since transformed into a manufacturing operation and its principal activities continue to be brewing, packaging, marketing and selling of Guinness Foreign Extra Stout, Guinness Extra Smooth, Malta Guinness, Malta Guinness Herbs Lite, Harp Lager, Smirnoff Ice, Satzenbrau Lager, Dubic Malt, Snapp, Master’s Choice, Orijin Spirit Mixed Drink, Orijin Bitters, Smirnoff Ice Double Black with Guarana, Guinness Africa Special, Orijin Zero, Tappers and Royal Kingdom Lager.

A graduate of Food Technology from the Federal Polytechnic, Ado Ekiti, Adenike also holds a Postgraduate Degree in Management from the University of Calabar.
Equally a talented writer and blogger, Adenike clinched the executive leadership role at Guinness around 2004, and through her role she has supported the delivery of an agenda at the multi-national company.
Adenike finds marketing extremely stimulating and most of all, she looks forward to the rewarding feeling of fulfilment and pride that comes with seeing the Guinness brands win, as a result of the choices that the company makes as marketers every day.
A lover of marketing, Adenike has garnered a robust experience spanning from Commercial Capability training, Brand Marketing, Innovations and Customer Marketing.
Interestingly, Adenike started out a career in UAC, owners of Mr. Biggs as a restaurant manager before she got promoted to the position of a brand manager. Three years after the National Youth Service Corps programme, Adenike returned to school; where she received her postgraduate certificates. This helped her and exposed her to more things in Marketing. For her, passion is more important than a certificate. She believes that the certificate helps but they say attitude and passion take you the distance.

Though she says her dad was a mentor who played a major role in sharpening her life, she also owes her former boss at UAC, Larry Ettah some gratitude for helping shape her career.Adenike has also successfully mentored and guarded younger ones, through some of her motivational talks, roles and speeches at occasions.

Adenike loves singing, dancing, aerobics, trying new recipes & watching movies.
