Onyeche Tifase has a strong sales background with a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) focused in Electrical Engineering from Cambridge University and a Bachelors Degree (B.Eng) in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from the University of Nottingham.An highly intelligent woman, Onyeche who has proven to her employers her worth, with an exceptional display of professionalism and uprightness, sits on the board of a few organizations that aim to foster the growth and development of the country, among which are the Nigerian Economic Summit Group; she is the President of the Nigerian-German Chamber of Commerce and the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Siemens Nigeria, a position she assumed in 2014.

Onyeche started her career with Siemens in 2001 as an Electrical Engineer in the Power Distribution Division of Siemens Plc UK. After this rudimentary experience, she climbed up the rungs of the ladder taking up other key roles in Siemens Germany and Siemens USA.In 2006, she worked with Accenture Nigeria as a management consultant, but in 2009 she returned to Siemens as Deputy General Manager Medium Voltage and Transformers for Siemens Ltd. Nigeria. A strong advocate of digitalization, Onyeche believes it plays a huge role when companies leverage on the internet to manage, operate and maintain their assets. She also believes that entrepreneurs can increase their revenue and reduce cost with digital solutions and, in that way, expand and create jobs. She is convinced that unemployment in Africa can be addressed through knowledge and the right financial support.
Speaking on her convictions on the policies of Siemens, she is fond of saying, “if we get it right in Nigeria, we can get it right anywhere else”. Despite the hill of challenges Nigeria presents, the company perceives them as great opportunities for giant strides testifying to its motto “ingenuity for life”.
