NEPC Holds Media Retreat for Commerce, Industry Correspondents in Abuja

The Nigerian Export Promotion Council, (NEPC) on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 hosted Commerce and Industry correspondents at a one-day Media Retreat in Abuja.


The event took place at NEPC conference hall, Abuja at 10 a.m.


The event, which hosted over 100 Journalists is themed Diversifying the Economy: the role of NEPC.


According to the Executive Director/CEO of the Council, Dr. Ezra Yukusak, the Retreat focused on the role of the Media in promoting Export for the survival of the Nation. 


He said the retreat sensitizes stakeholders on the importance of Export, provide an opportunity for fresh inputs and feedback from stakeholders as well as create awareness on the opportunities associated with exportation of local goods and services.


“The event availd stakeholders to share knowledge and information as well as review good practice on policies and programme and promotion of social media for good governance”.


“The Media Retreat shed more light on understanding ways to promote our local products, to grow the GDP of the country”, he said.
