Delta Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori has congratulated Pere of Akugbene-Mein Kingdom and 1st Vice Chairman of Delta State Traditional Rulers Council, HRM Stanley Perediegha Luke-Kalanama VIII (JP), on his 57th birth anniversary.
In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, in Asaba, Oborevwori said the Akugbene-Mein monarch is one of the most articulate and influential kings in the State and commended him for his sterling contributions to the growth of his Kingdom and the State.
The Governor said that Pere Luke-Kalanama VIII has provided dedicated and inspirational leadership for his people for over 25 years on the throne and deserves to be celebrated at 57.
He lauded the monarch’s contributions to the Traditional institution in the State where he first served as 2nd Vice Chairman of the Traditional Rulers Council.
The Governor also commended the Akugbene-Mein monarch for his contributions to the educational development of his Kingdom through the institution of educational scholarship for his subjects.
Oborevwori said: “On behalf of the Government and people of Delta, I warmly felicitate with HRM Stanley Perediegha Luke-Kalanama VIII (JP), the Pere of Akugbene-Mein Kingdom on the occasion of his 57th birth anniversary on July 8.
“It is my prayer that Almighty God will continue to give you good health and wisdom to pilot the traditional affairs of your kingdom, even as we continue to look forward to your valuable contributions to the development of our dear State and Country,” Governor Oborevwori added.
