Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has extended warm congratulations to Leader of the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Engr. Emmanuel Emeka Nwaobi, on the occasion of his 51st birth anniversary on January 17.
In a statement issued in Asaba by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, the Governor praised Nwaobi, who also serves as Chairman of the Nigerian Majority Leaders’ Forum, for his outstanding representation of Aniocha North State Constituency and his sterling contributions to the legislative process, describing him as a lawmaker of high repute.
Governor Oborevwori commended the House Leader for his exceptional capacity, humility and patriotism, noting that his leadership qualities have continued to strengthen the legislative arm of government in the state.
He said: “Delta State is blessed to have competent lawmakers in the class of Hon. Emeka Nwaobi,” the Governor said, describing him as a brilliant legislator whose competence and conduct bring pride to the institution”.
He added that Nwaobi has consistently demonstrated the ability to effectively manage matters of state interest, development and progress in his role as House Leader.
“On behalf of my family, the Government and people of Delta State, I rejoice with one of Delta’s finest lawmakers, Hon. Engr. Emeka Nwaobi, on his 51st birth anniversary.
“I pray that God Almighty grants you good health and many more years of dedicated service to the people of Aniocha North in particular and Delta State in general. Happy birthday,” Oborevwori said.
