Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has felicitated his Rivers counterpart, Mr Siminalayi Fubara, on his 50th birth anniversary on January 28.

In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, in Asaba, Governor Oborevwori praised Fubara as a brave leader deserving recognition and celebration for his remarkable achievements in governing Rivers State.

He extolled Governor Fubara as a wise and capable leader, divinely chosen to serve the people during this time in the political history of Rivers State.

Oborevwori said: “Since your emergence as Governor of Rivers, you have continued to ensure good governance predicated on the need to raise the people’s standard of living, by ensuring development, peace and security in the state.

“It is certain that your administration’s development agenda will continue to have a positive impact on the state’s growth and progress.

“On behalf of the government and people of Delta State, I extend my congratulations to an exceptional professional, experienced accountant, and my brother, Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State, on the occasion of his 50th birth anniversary.

“As you mark this year’s birthday, I pray that God blesses you with greater wisdom and good health to continue serving Him and humanity exceptionally.”
