Delta Governor, Sen. (Dr) Ifeanyi Okowa, has congratulated Mr Azubuike Osumili on his appointment as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Amazing Inspiration Media Limited, owners of Inspiration FM Lagos, Ibadan, Uyo and Lasgidi FM.
Okowa said that Osumili, an illustrious Deltan from Umuaja in Ukwuani Local Government Area of the State, was a consummate and award-winning broadcast journalist, media consultant, news personality with over 20 consecutive years as a Reporter and Editor.
In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Olisa Ifeajika, on Tuesday in Asaba, he lauded Osumili for his professional competence and contributions to the growth and development of the broadcast media in Nigeria.
Okowa urged Osumili and other citizens of the State in privileged positions in the media industry to contribute to the Stronger Delta vision of his administration by marketing and attracting investors to the state.
“On behalf of the government and people of Delta, I congratulate our illustrious son, Mr Azubike Osumili on his appointment as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Amazing Inspiration Media Limited.
“As an award-winning broadcast journalist, media consultant, editor and radio personality, I am convinced that you have all the wealth of experience to drive Amazing Inspiration Media Group to meet the vision and expectations of the owners.
“As a state, we are blessed with illustrious Deltans in top media management, and I appeal that you all use your privileged offices to market the potential of our state and attract the much-needed investments to grow our Stronger Delta vision,” he added.
He wished Osumili a successful tenure as MD/CEO of the media organisation.
