Nollywood actress, Lala Akindoju-Fregene, has debunked news that veteran actor Olu Jacobs is dead.
The rumours of his death began to gain traction especially on Twitter Tuesday night.
However, Lala took to her Twitter page to warn those spreading “fake news” to desist.
“Uncle Olu Jacobs is alive and well. Very much so.
“I just got off the phone with him. Please stop spreading fake news,” she wrote.
Olu Jacobs, who will be 78 next month, is married to another legendary Nollywood star, Joke Silva.
