President Muhammadu Buhari sympathizes with the Eze Isi Ala 1 of Isieketa Ancient Kingdom, His Royal Majesty Eze Elder Nelson Nmerengwa (JP) on the passage of his mother, Chief (Mrs) Comfort Nmerengwa (Nma).
The President says at age 105, Nma can be said to have lived a glorious life, crowned with longevity, but the thing about mothers is that however old they are, “we never want to see them leave.”
“Mothers are from Heaven, and Nma has only returned home,” President Buhari added, urging Eze Nmerengwa and members of the Isieketa Ancient Kingdom to take solace in the quality of life lived by the departed, and the legacy she left behind.
The President applauds the reputation of Nma as a dedicated Christian, farmer, community leader, and loving mother to all her children, encouraging the family to keep the memory of their matriarch aglow through a continuation of her good works.
As a befitting funeral is given to Nma, President Buhari prays God to accept her soul, and give her peaceful rest.
