Teenager, Bukayo Saka, has been nominated for the Arsenal Player of the Season award after a good outing for the English Premier League club.
The club in a tweet on Tuesday listed the 18-year-old alongside captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and goalkeeper Bern Leno for the season’s best player gong.
“Our final contender is Bukayo Saka, who has had a stunning breakthrough campaign and has underlined his versatility by playing in a variety of different positions while scoring four times and claiming 12 assists,” Arsenal wrote on their website.
Aubameyang, who was named the club’s captain last November after Granit Xhaka was stripped of the armband, scored 27 goals in all competition to emerge the Gunners’ highest goal scorer.
Leno kept seven clean sheets for the Gunners before going injured in an EPL tie against Brighton in June.
Saka recently signed a long-term contract extension with the Gunners.
