The new chairman of Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Chiedu Ebie will continue to evolve new ways and strategies to give back to the host communities and contribute to the development of the Niger Delta.
An advocacy group, Delta Youth For Development, (DYFD), expressed confidence that Barrister Chiedu Ebie, will make the Nation proud.
Speaking on behalf of the group, it’s President, Dr. Dimgba Amoni, said this reacting to protests by a faceless group, against the nomination of Ibie.
He said, as a thorough-bred Niger-deltan, he is confident that Barrister Chiedu Ebie, will make President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the people of Niger Delta region proud.
He also appreciated President Tinubu for appointing Ibie as Chairman, not forgetting his role in the just-concluded elections.
The group pledged its support for Barr. Ebie, as the Chairman, NDDC.
“I am absolute confident in Barrister Chiedu Ebie. He is competent, capable and has acquired the administrative experience to contribute and make positive impact that will redirect and reposition the NDDC for greater productivity”.
“I have no doubt that Barr. Ebie is a loyal and dedicated party member. He will represent the interests of the youth well in the NDDC Board”, the youths said.
He urged all APC members and youths to support Ibie’s nomination, advising “He is the best person for the job, and he will make us all proud”.
On the agitation of some youths, he said, appealed to them to work with the new NDDC leadership in uplifting the Niger Delta region.
